As you would expect, there are many different places to eat out in the local area and we keep a list
of suggestions to help you choose. One of our favourites (approximately 4 km away) is the pretty Auberge de Miramont,
where you can dine on wonderful local products whilst sitting outside on the floral terrace or in the cosy dining room.
Alternatively there is the (not to be missed) Auberge de Lauzinie, where you can have an entirely different
experience watching your meat being cooked on an open fire in the dining room.
Villages such as Montcuq offer a variety cafes and restaurants that should suit any requirements.
Or perhaps you could make a trip to the lovely old village of St Maurin with its inspiring old Abbey
and enjoy a meal at ‘La Table de L’Abbaye’. Combined with a trip to perhaps Pûy L’Eveque and the Lot
River - always worth a visit is the ever popular ‘La Terrace’ in the old village of Grezels – right
on the edge of the River Lot and looked down upon by its very own chateau.
The Cafe du Centre in Roquecor is always popular and this restaurant/bar is well positioned in the
centre of this lovely bastide village.
Sitting in the sunshine outside a restaurant in France is definitely one of life’s most pleasant
experiences. We will happily call and make reservations for you either before or during your stay.
