Markets take place in the morning
– starting fairly early at about 8.30am and going on until lunchtime. It
is best to arrive no later than 11am if you want to have a good look around.
Here are some suggestions!
Montaigu de Quercy – Saturday
morning – good selection of food stalls and very handy to get to.
Montcuq – Sunday Morning –
this makes a nice trip to Montcuq – there are a number of cafes/restaurants in which to have lunch.
Lauzerte – Saturday morning – in the Medieval square at the top of the village
-
Wednesday morning – small food market only – lower down in the village, set around the old washhouse –
nearer to the shops and banks.
Moissac – Saturday and Sunday
mornings – large market right in the middle of Moissac.
Roquecor – Sunday morning
– traditional village market.
Puy L’Evêque – Tuesday
morning
Luzech – Wednesday morning
Prayssac – Friday morning
Monsempron Libos – Thursday
morning.
Villeneuve-sur-Lot – Tuesday
and Saturday mornings
During the summer season there are
also regular ‘Farmers Markets’ in the local villages – watch out for signs.
Another real treat is the evening markets – again look for local signs.
