At breakfast we serve a selection of croissants and bread from our local boulangerie, along with preserves,
yogurts, fruit, coffee, tea and fruit juice. Breakfast is served either outside or in the dining room. A few nights a week we provide light
evening meals for guests (by arrangement) these are often eaten in the garden, on the terrace or inside during cooler evenings in
the dining room. After a few years of providing evening meals we have come
to the conclusion that what suits the majority of people is to have something simple and informal. Starting in 2011
our evening meals are going to be either a supper of bread, salads, home-made pate (perhaps quiche, or cold meats) cheese,
this will be served altogether with some fresh fruit/fruit tart. The charge per head for these meals is 18 Euros
per head and includes 1/2 litre of wine or fruit juice per adult. Children 11 and under 10 Euros. We are happy to provide vegetarian options. We usually aim to provide evening meals about 3/4 nights a week . These nights are
timed to coincide with evenings when local restaurants may be closed - so will usually include Sundays and Mondays.
Please let us know when you are booking, if you would like supper providing on the night of arrival. We are happy to recommend places to
eat and to make bookings for you. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available in bedrooms not occupied by children. We have a fridge in the dining room which guests are welcome to use for small amounts of their own food -
this does provide room for everyone to try and keep an entire family fed for a week. Simple the odd bits and pieces
you may wish to keep for later use.

| Auberge at Miramont de Quercy |
As you would expect, there are many different places to eat out
in the local area . We keep a list of suggestions to help you choose. One of our favourites (approximately 4 km
away) is the pretty Auberge de Miramont, where you can dine on wonderful local products whilst sitting outside on the floral
terrace or in the cosy dining room. A firm favourite with our guests is the The Cafe du Centre in Roquecor.
This lively bar/restaurant is well worth a visit, we do recommend that you make a reservation. Find out more about The Cafe du Centre here.
Alternatively there is the (not to be missed) Auberge de Lauzinie, where you can have
an entirely different experience watching your meat being cooked on an open fire in the dining room. Villages such as Montcuq offer a variety cafes and restaurants that should suit any requirements.
Or perhaps you could make a trip to the lovely old village of St Maurin with its inspiring old Abbey
and enjoy a meal at ‘La Table de L’Abbaye’. Combined with a trip to perhaps Pûy L’Eveque and
the Lot River - always worth a visit is the ever popular ‘La Terrace’ in the old village of Grezels –
right on the edge of the River Lot and looked down upon by its very own chateau. Sitting
in the sunshine outside a restaurant in France is definitely one of life’s most pleasant experiences. In
summer we do stress the need for making a reservation, it is amazing how busy places can suddenly become. We will happily
call and make reservations for you either before or during your stay.
